Wrinkle Erase for the Cause
From Dr. Paul Ruff IV, M.D.
“If you know anyone who has suffered from any type of cancer, you understand the trials they have endured. In 2016, an estimated 246,660 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in women in the U.S. However, breast cancer rates have been decreasing since 2000 and breast cancer death rates have been decreasing since 1989. Research, awareness and funding have been the keys to this success. The only way to eventually find a cure is through continued support of research.
My mother, sister, and mother-in-law are all survivors. Daily I think about the potential impact of this disease on my wife and daughters.
I started Wrinkle Erase for the Cause (501(c)(3) #46-0847506) as a unique way to raise donations through some of the common anti-aging and rejuvenating treatments that many people enjoy. Doing something for oneself can be a very powerful way to help someone else. For an entire day we inject BOTOX® Cosmetic, JUVÉDERM®, Dysport®, Restylane®, XEOMIN® and RADIESSE®. We also have raffle items from local businesses, great food, and visits from local celebs. To date we have raised over $175,000, with the proceeds from the event donated to Living in Pink, a local charity that helps fund breast cancer research.
This year we are thankful for the support of our partners including Erwin Gomez and Karma Beauty Lounge, Coup de Foudre, CompositionID, Galderma, Merz and Allergan. Without their support, this could not be the success that it is.
Our goal is to hold this event every year and raise more funds than each previous year until this terrible disease is eradicated. In order to do that we need to pass the word along. Feel free to pass this website along to family, friends and associates, and sign up to be notified of next year’s event. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please complete the brief sponsorship form and we will contact you.”
