What is Sculptra®?
Scultptra is a dermal filler approved by the FDA in 2004. It is commonly used to treat lipoatrophy, also known as facial volume loss. Your facial skin loses volume as collagen levels decline. The injectable is similar to other dermal fillers, but with one crucial difference.
Instead of filling in fine lines and helping to smooth out wrinkles, Sculptra stimulates natural collagen production in your skin. The results look more natural and typically last for two years or longer.
How is Sculptra® Different From Other Injectables?
Traditional dermal fillers are injected close to the skin’s surface. Sculptra® is injected deeper into the skin layers. You will see some noticeable results after the first treatment, but the injectable is designed to work gradually over time through natural collagen production. To achieve maximum results, you will require a few treatments over several weeks. Not only will you look younger and more rejuvenated, but the results can also last for two years or longer.
Are You a Good Candidate for Sculptra®?
Almost everyone is a good candidate for Sculptra. The non-surgical procedure is performed in-office and does not require any downtime. Clients may experience soreness and redness at the injection sites, but it typically dissipates in a few days.

Is Sculptra® Only for Facial Treatments?
Sculptra® is a safe, synthetic, and biocompatible material that is injected below the surface of the skin in the area of fat loss. It achieves excellent results in all parts of the face including the areas around the eyes and lips, between the mouth and nose, and throughout the cheeks and temples. However, it can also be part of a Brazilian Butt Lift procedure.
