West End Plastic Surgery was the very first practice in Washington D.C. to receive Jeuveau®! Jeuveau® by Evolus is now FDA approved neurotoxin for the temporary improvement of moderate to severe glabellar lines in adults.
How Effective is Jeuveau Compared to Similar Products like Botox?
According to studies and surveys, the cosmetic results of Jeuveau are very similar to other neuromodulators, namely Botox. Being the most well-known neuromodulator wrinkle-reducer, Botox is the standard to which other products adhere. In surveys, patients treated with both reported no discernable difference in terms of their rejuvenated appearance. Additionally, the side effects that are associated with these cosmetic treatments are very similar in presentation and management. It is important to note that if you are sensitive or allergic to the ingredients in Botox, you may also have a similar response to Jeuveau.
The experienced team at West End Plastic Surgery is dedicated to safety, comfort, and optimal results. Here, you can expect your provider to conduct a thorough consultation and examination to determine which treatment or treatments are right for you. How Many Jeuveau Treatments are Needed for the Best Results?
Jeuveau is designed to work after just one round of injections. As a neuromodulator, Jeuveau works more gradually than dermal fillers. You can expect an improvement in your rejuvenated face over the course of about one week. After that, you do not need further injections until you begin to notice a recurrence of frown lines, crow's feet, and other dynamic creases.
Can Jeuveau be Combined with Other Cosmetic Procedures?
Like Botox and Xeomin, Jeuveau can also be combined with dermal fillers to acheive more substantial facial rejuvenation in a single appointment. When you consult with us about your cosmetic goals, we will take in the information you provide about your concerns and devise a personalized treatment plan around them. It is then in your hands whether you undergo complementary treatments at one time or you space them apart.
